the universe

is more thought

than machine

geometry in parabolic dreams

histories computed

and drawn in lines

empyrean madness

in elaborate design

 

the future shifts with the wings of butterflies

prophets and tyrants brought down by the wind

when you awake 

from this ghostly sleep

the winter inside you

past days behind you

drawn out like a wave

cold, cold oceans away

silver crests under moonlight

sing in radiation

of icy stars 

and information 

 

your gravity

magnetic machinery

aura, we loved you

and with empathy made you

 

the air shifts

your arms flit like butterflies

like satellites
